  • If diagnosed with schizophrenia, discuss initiation of an oral antipsychotic that has an LAI formulation
  • The data on relapse prevention for LAIs compared with oral antipsychotics is compelling,

  • LAI use would help clinicians assess whether relapse occurs because of nonadherence or despite adequate medication
